I am the mother to 3 girls, Amanda, Samantha and Haley...and one incredible boy, Shawn. Shawn was born with a congenital heart defect, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, including pulmonary stenosis, he was also diagnosed with Protein Losing Enteropathy after Fontan. Shawn is NO LONGER waiting for a heart transplant at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University and Medical Center in Palo Alto, California, Shawn received his heart transplant July 31, 2008!!..
I am also married to my best friend, George...who is the greatest man I've ever known.
