Great Idea folks, but if you are going to be sincere in your efforts you have to be " SEEN TO BE UP FRONT" I saw no nudes but lots of people with CLOTHES ON. I realise that many are just unable to go naked to help their community but...... well, nude is NUDE eh.
Maybe ultra conservative american websites are not the way to go when exposure needs to be real.. " pun there". Hope you get what you want, best of luck with it I'm part of a fight with development on a lake here but the big end of town seems to have the keys to the steamroller. Cheers Phil

Hastings Point has always been a place that I can escape to, a place of unaffected seaside enchantment & wonderment ...If it goes.. so do my dreams and expectancy of a true miracle of nature....If U R listening big boys...U R NOT WELCOME IN THIS PLACE OF SANCTUARY!! Be gone & never come back.....We do not want to loose our paradise!! Go build your big bucks homes some where else... preferably UR own backyards!!

Well done people, you live in a beautiful area of the world and should fight like buggery to save it. Keep it up.

Well done and a huge congratulations on getting attention. I live in what was a beautiful area of Tasmania on the coastline. The 'big boys' have moved into the area and destroyed our beautiful bay. The local community fought it as far as the supreme court and still lost the battle due to the proponent submitting yet another plan to council, which they approved, apparently one of the main reasons being council could not afford to fight yet another battle to the supreme court! Much cheaper just to say yes to a development than have to fight! Our beautiful bay has been permantely damaged, seagrass beds removed, the seabed dug out and builders sand replaced the natural seabed. The bay now looks disgusting at low tide. If you get a chance come and see the irreparable damage developers with no interest in environmental matters or interest in the local community who regularly use the area have done. The developer is a private individual who continues to destroy our bay.

Great too see some of us "aussies" out there doing all we can do get the "big guys" attention, is such a shame to see that you even have to go as far as this.

Is a wonderful place and Iv'e spent plenty of holidaying time there, ( I love the surf!) Please post a comment to let us "concerned Aussies" know what s happening. We all know there are PLENTY of us out there, just because we may not post a comment. I will keep my eye out in te media, and i so hope your town gets what it deserves, no matter how far (down!) you have too go ;)
