Good Morning Vicki, Happy to hear from you. With regards to the roses I would cut them way back, if you haven't already done that, and if you have some old burlap bags wrap the remaining stems up good and then cover with hay or straw or whatever you have. Then you could take the potting soil and cover whatever you put over them to keep it from blowing away. Hope that helps. Hey Girl, How went the Holiday? Good I hope. Have you been out "Howling" lately? If so, I'm sorry I wasn't there to join you. Is it finally starting to feel like winter up there yet? Not here. Days have still been in the high 40's which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned as it just means I am not burning nearly as much wood as I normally would. Less I have to cut for next winter.
