hey army brat , you know that pearl harbor was avoidable , fdr had recieved decoded messages a week in advance and was aware that jap warships were only 300 miles off the coast. They even tried to blame the admiral , believe his last name was House,could be wrong. We antagonized the situation by setting tariffs on the trade, we did not allow any ships through panama canal, and so forth.fdr was in cahoots with the council on foreign relations including his pres. advisor. just thought you would like to know that is all. take a look on wiki also .
