This dance is a classic example of Fusion. She takes the traditional stylings of Belly Dance and mixes them with the Indian stylings of Rahman's song. Very nicely done!

John Williams himself could find nothing in this presentation to critisize. The beautiful simplicity, the purity of the instrument - it evokes the haunting quality that this piece has always held - be it Williams himself on Piano, or Pearlman on violin. Bravo and well done.

Heard Jason on the radio talking about this video ... it's just as good as he promised!! This is the kind of message that the world needs to be getting. Not the crap we usually see.

Okay, listened to this the whole way down and I have to say I like it. For one, her voice is utterly haunting. For another, yes. It is religion - in it's barest, darkest essence. Zealous faith in what we think is right, but is tragically proven wrong. And with that, I have a new favorite group.
