Married to a hot, tall, blue-eyed blonde. I have a masters degree in electrical engineering. I enjoy all types of science and try to do my small part to spread scientific knowledge to the masses before religion poisons their minds. I don't make videos, I spread knowledge by looking for, and correcting, horribly flawed comments on science videos. I also enjoy refuting religious claims, psychics, new-age healing, and anything else that gets my skeptic's senses tingling. For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
-Carl Sagan
You cant convince a believer of anything; for their belief is not based on evidence, its based on a deep seated need to believe. Carl Sagan
"We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes. "
-Gene Roddenberry
(Were the Nazi's Atheist? You decide.)
"We were convinced that the people need and require this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out."

"But Marge, what if we chose the wrong religion? Each week we just make God madder and madder."
- Homer Simpson
Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge.
-Carl Sagan
Skeptical scrutiny is the means, in both science and religion, by which deep thoughts can be winnowed from deep nonsense.
-Carl Sagan
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
-Carl Sagan
The more the fruits of knowledge become accessible to men, the more widespread is the decline of religious belief.

Anyone who has the power to make you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustices.

If God created us in his own image, we have more than reciprocated.

Science is facts; just as houses are made of stone, so is science made of facts; but a pile of stones is not a house, and a collection of facts is not necessarily science.
Jules Henri Poincaré (1854-1912) French mathematician.
It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories instead of theories to suit facts.
Sherlock Holmes, the fictional creation of Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930) British physician and novelist.
"The man of science has learned to believe in justification, not by faith, but by verification."
Thomas H. Huxley (1825-95) English biologist.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

'A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death.'

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Arthur C. Clarke, "Profiles of The Future", 1961 (Clarke's third law) English physicist & science fiction author (1917 - )
I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.
- Galileo Galilei
"A superstition is a premature explanation that overstays its time."
- George Iles
"Our belief is not a belief. Our principles are not a faith. We do not rely soley upon science and reason, because these are necessary rather than sufficient factors, but we distrust anything that contradicts science or outrages reason. We may differ on many things, but what we respect is free inquiry, openmindedness, and the pursuit of ideas for their own sake."
