When the U.S.S. Enterprise is ordered to Starbase 6, Capt. Kirk (William Shatner) is informed that Dr. Richard Daystrom (William Marshall) will be testing his new M-5 mutlitronic unit onboard, during which time most of the crew will be removed. If successful, the computer will replace ship personnel, such as the captain. Whilst testing the capabilities of the computer, the Enterprise approaches a planet for surveying, only to discover the U.S.S Exeter is already in orbit. With the exception of the captain (Morgan Woodward), all the crew are dead from an unknown disease, and it is not long before Kirk and his landing party realise they too are infected. Why is the Exeter's captain still alive? Will Kirk and crew find a cure...and is the initial success of the M-5 computer too good to be true?
This is a fan edit I made combining TOS 'The Ultimate Computer' with 'The Omega Glory' to form one 96 minute movie. Quality has been reduced slightly for youtube. This is purely made by a fan for fans, no copyright infringement intended. 'Star Trek' is owned by Paramount.
