I don't think world war three. China and russia I think would rather abandon Iran than risk their trade interests with the us, which they would be by attacking israel.

While neither side is behaving admirably, I would have to say that in this case israel has behaved worse. The surrounding arab countries, however, ceaslessly bully israel. Even after the withdrawal from gaza, the palestinians were sending rockets daily over the border. Also, in 2000 with its withdrawal from lebanon, israel pledged a harsh military response to cross border attacks. These two things combined have led the govornment to launch an offensive for two reasons: to send a "don't mess with us" message, and to put a stop to the recent hezbolla arms buildup. All that asside, I truly think that if the arabs settled down, israel would too. Their position has been continuously one which is reactive (even though hamas thinks they are in the same position), and not agressive. I am not sure how this will turn out, but I don't think it will help either side.

Im sorry that I took your comment in the wrong way. However, israel does not own us banks. US banks are for the most part private, and are owned domestically. Most of our bonds which are held by other countries are not held by Israel. And I agree, it is sad that israel starts a war over two soldiers. I don't know what israel should have done, but it wasn't bombing the hell out of beruit. They have about 20 times as many attacks now as before the war.

Actually, china and saudi arabia own more than Israel. Its really sad that people cant get rid of the idea that jews are evil and control the world. You should really review your ideas about israel. Statements like what you made prove without a doubt that you are not a very bright person.
