Reposting this video since YouTube blocked my previous one because of Pink Floyd music i used there. Well, here we go again.
Now approved and selected for Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program! ETOILE QUI DANSE (show name Dancing Star) - is a 11 y.o. THOROUGHBRED MARE, on her approval for AMERICAN HANOVERIAN SOCIETY in 2010. THE HIGHEST SCORE NON-HANOVERIAN MARE of 2010! She passed her inspection (conformation and correctness) with great score of 7.83 ((second highest score among ALL mares of 2010), and completed the Mare Performance Test with overall 8.0. With this results she easily entered prestigious Hanoverian Main Mare Stud Book - rare for a Thoroughbred mare. This is the first part of the MPT - Free Jumping in the chute. Last Oxer is 4'6". Please, note - there is no whip involved for motivation to jump

After yesterday snow storm it is sun again and it is getting warm. Horses have fun running through the fresh snow. It is quite slippery, though, since the snow melts rapidly. Del Mar, 3 y.o. chestnut Dutch Warmblood (UB40 - EM Wednesday/Weltmeyer) and Sequel HF, 2 y. o Hanoverian black gelding (Sinatra Song - EM Regal Dona/Rubino Bellissimo) - being just happy horses. The older thoroughbreds (with blankets) are more prudent and don't run so much.

These are Wild Horse of Przhevalski mares in Munich ZOO, at the end of the day, when the visitors finally go home and the animals get their food. The zoo practices the "day off" feeding program, as i was told - one day a week the animals simply have no food to minimize the obesity. I happen to be there exactly at the moment when the agitated mares get their meal after the "hungry day". Guess the excitement of the moment makes it to explain why the horses are so aggressive to each other, but generally, it is pretty normal behavior in the wild. Just another reminder for us, small humans, how much force and power can horse release when being a horse. I would not like to be in the middle of the hassle for sure!

Steffen Peters and Weltino's Magic as demo performers at the USDF 2011 Symposium in San Diego, CA. It is a moment of teaching piaffe from the ground - Anne Gribbons coaching - and the horse's incredible personality and charm. There is the story behind it. Weltino's Magic is a very confident horse, which can do whatever, but he has a sweet tooth. There was a short friendly argument between the Symposium's trainers about the treats for horses, and Anne was a strong supporter of sugar cubes. With microphone in one hand and whip and sugar in another hand, she demonstrates to public how those two last tools work together. Weltino's Magic is showing much appreciation and makes a great job, but does not forget to ask for treats when he's been such a good student. This way of going makes him the public's favorite - he got many more fans that day. Really a Wonder Horse
