Facts:
As you have watched the clip, you'll see how the magician act like professional in the given situation, I'd like to emphasize about the shaking of the hands while performing, Most amateur or even other intermediate magician doesn't know the difference of nervous and having an adrenaline rush..
The guy in the clip is a very experienced magician, hes shaking because of too much energy and excitement while performing a trick, this makes the blood flow faster, that result to the shaking of his hands, this may look awkward to other magician, but its just normal, don't mistook this on being scared or trembling, this will only happen when your too happy..
When your scared or nervous you can not perform a good trick, or even start or finish a trick right, being scared can cause mental block, and stiffening of the hands, that results not performing a trick right.
Tips for too much energy, excitement, or adrenaline: 1.Relax 2.Take a deep breath 3.Try being so serious or look bored (this one is really effective)
Tips for Being Scared or Nervous: 1.Practice 2.Experience 3.Relax (if all of this does not work, then give up.. just joking).
Trivia:
Jeff McBride a world record holder, and a professional stage magician, also experienced having too much energy, watch art of card manipulation vol.1 so you can clearly see it, while performing a close up trick and teaching some flourishes his hand are shaking.
Sharing my experience:
Onetime in my magic shop I experience my hand shaking, not knowing why Im shaking, I continue and finished the trick, Ive done that trick a thousand times, but still experience the shaking, then there I realize that I was too excited.
I also experienced it while Im alone practicing an XCM move, I was so glad that Ive done it very very fast for the very first time, I immediately repeated it, til I realize that I cant control it anymore because of my hand shaking, this is also caused by too much energy and happiness.
Occasionally I also experience shaking of the hand, but dont let this bother you, continue the trick, if you feel that your hand is getting numb or stiff, it means your scared, stop the trick right there and just make an excuse and go.
