You misunderstood completely. It is only in the past year that other countries started trading in other than the FRN. Yes it is true that it is not new that they have traded in the past with other precious commodities only because they wanted to hold on to their FRN's. No it is not good for someone to go into debt; it is not a position of power. But you must understand that the FRN is not the American people's currency. It is counterfeit.

So much of the earth is being wasted with no one living on it or making use of it. Long term scientific projections estimate that world population growth will slowly decrease until world population tops out at 11 billion people, at which point trends of declining fertility rates already taking their toll in rich nations will spread to developing nations, as they reach similar standards of living. The real economic crisis will be depopulation.
