Dear railfans:

Welcome to Northern Ontario's biggest and most popular railfanning channel, home of NorthernChevronProductions (C).

My youtube channel is dedicated to the one and only Ontario Northland Railway. The ONR is a short line railway, spanning from points as far north as Moosonee, as far south as North Bay, west to Hearst and east into Rouyn/Noranda Quebec. The "Northlander" passenger train runs as far south as Toronto.

In my videos, you will find daily operations at the ONR, as well as special trains and unusual activities. Power on this short line is, for the time being, exclusively comprised of engines made by EMD. General Electric has yet to be purchased. Also, because there is such little power at the ONR, some very unique lash-ups and consists can be frequently found.

This area of Ontario is very remote with many scenic lakes, rivers, creeks and rocks. These all make for some amazing videos and pictures.

I use a HD Canon Vixia HF S21 for most of my shots.
