In this life we're all living, everything is art and politics. That's why the most succesfull dictatorship is that of denying to ourselves any involvement with politics. Then we just think that art and life have been left to us to get involved with...
ABOUT THE CURRENT CRISIS IN THE E.U.
More than a year ago the US government took more than $1 trillion from the honest American tax payers & it gave it to the US banking system which was collapsing after playing with toxic investment products. The money haven't been returned to the American tax payers neither in the form of liquidity or in the form of simple services.
Other banks were playing with the same toxic products and it was banks of the wealthier E.U. states like Germany, France, The Netherlands & of course Great Britain. This was imposed not only by greed but mostly by the common financial interests between those states and the USA - states that always let their strings pulled by the profit interests of the global greedy private banking sector.
Those E.U. colossal private banks were collapsing too and since the E.U. isn't the U.S.A. yet, and since they had to put lots of cash into their cashiers as soon as posible, they found out that they could use the countries of the E.U. (especially those in the Monetary Union) that they were overdebited by them. They have silently and for a few months created a huge problem to those countries which were left with no choice but to head for the creation of a "salvation mechanism" as they call it. The presence of the IMF in this "mechanism" was inevitable because of the common interests between the wealthier E.U. states, the U.S.A. and both their private banking sectors.
The 1st victim was Greece that it will receive $110 billion from the E.M.U. tax payers's money and the IMF (hardly the amount needed in total) but in real, the money is going straight to the private E.U. banking sector because that's where the money were lent from. Of course the Greek government had to take "austerity measures" as if we had "prosperity measures" before! That for salaries and pensions are cut by 10%, we don't take the 13th and 14th salary anymore which is our undeniable right to take because it consists only 1/10 of the surplus value that we, the Greek workers, anually produce and we are going to be checked every 3 months by the E.U. & the IMF together to see if we are procceding well and as planed. If we don't, the government will be forced to take more "austerity measures" and finish the Greek people off little by little.
Two Sundays ago, after the E.U. Finance Ministers "show" that there are plenty of other E.U. & especially E.M.U. states that are in great debt & trouble, they decided to give a boost to the E.U.'s private banking sector that's desparate for cash. That for they enlarged the "salvation mechanism" with the decision to give 750 billion Euros taken from all the E.U. tax payers without their consent. The money is supposedely going to be given to the states in debt but in real it'll go to the E.U. private banks again. That's the equivalent of the $1 trillion the U.S. governement gave about a year ago.
Every state (apart from Greece) will take up to 50 billion Euros to "solve" it's problems, it'll have to cut sallaries, pensions and public services like Greece does right now, the states will get checked once every 3 months by the E.U. and the IMF together and if they don't get their numbers as planned they'll be forced to take more "measures" and their representatives in the E.U. parliament will be denied to vote and get heared about any issue!
That's called "DEMOCRACY" European Style!!!...
