PHOTOGRAPHER, MUSICIAN, SONGWRITER, FATHER.

I am a musician and concerned citizen focused on environmental policy and the general insanity prevailing in our country, with a few powerful, avaricious people, entities at the top of the economic food chain controlling our lives and our democracy's destiny. I have been writing songs since 1973 since I got the Dylan Bug. Perhaps I have something to say. I am now living in W.Va., the place of my birth. Here in W.Va., our mountains and our land, and thus our people are being destroyed at an alarming rate by the worst man-made environmental disaster in human history. I have joined with other West Virginians to call for an end to Mountain Top Removal, a deadly form of mining; deadly to the environment, deadly to the planet. I USE MY MUSIC TO CALL ATTENTION to the situation. If you think this doesn't affect you, remember, it all flows downstream. And we're all downstream. Thank you for listening.
