@7or6 I'd have to agree with this. Yngwie is great at what he does, but using an acoustic guitar adds nothing to his playing here, and subtracts from it, imo.

@123213184 More than that, in my opinion. The work of Johnny Cash is truly "Americana," in a gender-defying way few artists can manage. I know rock fans, metal fans, punk fans, hair band fans, dance club music fans, etc. They ALL dig Johnny Cash.

@weezproductions That's all true, but it's also always been true. There's always been cheesy radio-friendly pop music, the bands that make the magazine covers, etc., but for those those willing to dig a little bit, there's also always been quality Rock and Roll of every sub-genre out there thriv...

@themanwhosmokedthewo Isn't he switching back and forth between two? Maybe one straight for comping the chords, and the cross-harp for the riffs? Just a guess, I'm not a harp guy.

@Jaloosifer I hear ya. Page is basically rolling a pattern. The mandolin is the lead instrument here and definitely provides the character of the tune.

I think it's awesome that grandma knows the lyrics.

Great job. This is one of my favorite Floyd tunes, and you do it justice. I also appreciate how you guys dig pretty deep into the catalog rather than just play the classic rock radio staples. Those Aussie boys better look out. ;)
