It seems everyone is posting the same fuzzy and scratchy old video copy of MIchael Jacksons 1972 hit Ben.
I reedited this great video of Michael at 14, for great stereo sound and improved video quality considering it was originally from a film transfer.

"Ben" was a number-one hit song written by Don Black and Walter Scharf and recorded by the teenaged Michael Jackson for the Motown label in 1972. The song, the theme of a 1972 film of the same name (the sequel to the 1971 killer rat movie Willard), spent one week at the top of the U.S. pop chart. It also reached number-one on the Australian pop chart, spending eight weeks at the top spot. The song also later reached a peak of number seven on the British pop chart.

The song became the first of 13 number-one pop hits for Jackson in the United States and his first number-one as a solo artist.

Later included on Jackson's album of the same name, "Ben" won a Golden Globe for Best Song and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

The song was originally written for Donny Osmond, but he was on tour and unavailable when it was time to record the single, so the song was offered to Michael Jackson.
Though Jackson had already become the youngest artist to ever record a number-one ("I Want You Back" with his brothers, The Jackson 5, in 1970), "Ben" made him the third-youngest solo artist, at fourteen, to score a number-one hit single. Only Stevie Wonder, who was thirteen when "Fingertips, Pt. 2" went to number one, and Donny Osmond, who was months shy of his fourteenth birthday when "Go Away Little Girl" hit number one in 1971 were younger.
Jackson performed "Ben" in front of a live audience at the Academy Awards ceremony, where it was up for the Oscar for Best Original Song in 1973.

The song was sung by 9 year old autistic boy David Militello on the third season of America's Got Talent.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS MY MOST WATCHED VIDEO!! IT MAKES ME SMILE EVERYTIME I SEE IT!! Good to know that people still appreciate one of the classics.

Sry its not the whole thing, but I got most of the song and after it stops its only like another minute of repeating the same riff. Blame Youtube. They hate long videos (especially at the time I put this up). I had the whole thing but they decided to cut it off.

ALSO!! I´m tired of everyone debating what´s good music and what´s bad. In truth any music can be good (i used to diss miley cyrus but she´s got a decent sense of musicianship, or at least whoever writes her stuff). My point is that all those who complain about the covers and others like emo bands...just stop. There is very little time in this world to love something which means there isn´t any time at all to hate it. If you don´t enjoy it then don´t listen to it but don´t think that your music is better just because of your tastes. I love Pink Floyd. More than any band that ever existed and that will forever stay true. However I also love Foo Fighters, Led Zep, Metallica, Dragonforce, Coheed and Cambria, BB King, the Beatles, Tupac and Biggie, George Gershwin, Avril Lavrine, Justin Timberlake, Fat Boy Slim, and many other styles of music. I´ll agree that I´m not a huge fan of country, blue grass, or opera but that doesn´t mean I hate them. Music is music, It each has its respective color and taste. But it all comes down to the same thing which is to serve the purpose of listening. So don´t judge and ENOUGH OF THE COMMENT WARS!!!

ALSO STOP PROMOTING YOUR BANDS HERE!! I DON´T CARE IF YOU MADE A TRIBUTE BAND, JOIN THE CROWD AND LEAVE THE COMMENTS ALONE!!

AND STOP SPAMMING THE COMMENTS WITH CRAP ABOUT YOUR CHANNEL AND FREE RINGTONES, THE WHOLE YOU SAY--- I SAY---, ETC.!!!
