About this user

When I was much younger I loved to write short stories, but I never enjoyed the process of reading others. I loved to hear stories read to me, so the problem was not a lack of interest in narrative. Later on in life I learned that I am dyslexic, but long before this it was fairly clear that I had an aversion to reading. Movies, in turn, became a big part of my life: they are the narrative form I can consume with ease. In this manner I also became a very visual person, developing a major love for drawing and photography. I continued to write stories during my childhood, and it wasn't until high school that I embraced film as a means to tell them. And so, today I march on in my learning of filmmaking, with a great passion for the cinematic arts.
