I recently just moved from LA to Bakersfield..I've been here for a couple of months now and I just started a new job..hopefully everything turns out okay for me now..maybe the time I spend here will help me rediscover good ol' bako and myself as well. I'm Asian(Cambodian to be specific) meaning I'm not mexcian or Filipino, despite popular preconceptions..

In a few key words, I am (or would like to think that I am) the following:

1. A dreamer

2. A hopeless romantic

3. An optimist

4. Shy (at first), but outgoing (once you get to know me and we establish a sense of comfortability).

I speak just 2.5 languages: English and Khmer/Cambodian. The half being that I know how to say a couple of words in Chinese, Korean, Armenian, Laos and Thai..oh and you can forget the Spanish.

Be forewarned, I am weird, I make weird facial expressions and dirty jokes but you'll only see that if I feel comfortable enough being around you. I get my stubbornness from my mom. I'm blunt and honest, so I will call you out if you are in the wrong, regardless of if you're a friend or not. I believe love is when you can be stupid with someone and not worry about being embarrassed or laughed at. I have one tiny dimple but I'm happy to have one rather than none at all, but I'll share my one dimple with you if you don't have one, cause then we can both have half a dimple. I don't like things that get stuck in my teeth like nuts and oreos but I still like to eat them anyway, which sucks for me, but I guess that's a metaphor for life - pros and cons to everything.

I live by my motto, "Life's too short to be mad." I tend to try to keep all the drama out of my life. Life has too many problems in it that we don't need to complicate it through problems with family, friends, or lovers. We only have one life to live so why can't we just try to be happy as much as we can. I believe that everyday, there's something to be happy and grateful for so my goal is to be happy everyday of my life.
