About Me:

TooffStone was officially formed in 2004 in Los Angeles ( U.S.A. ) by VarDan Varosyan (vocal, guitar) and Tigran Hamasyan (keyboard) as an experimental project. This collaboration, powered by an uncle-nephew relationship is a combination of heavy guitar rumble of "old school" (VarDan) with a fresh new style of young talented blood (Tigran), charged with an infectious beauty of middle-eastern flavor.Drummer Grish Pashyan who joined band in early 2006 whith his "hard hiting habit" turned this band's experemental agenda to real time rock house called "Tooffstone".In March of 2006 "Tooffstone" went to "Screaming Tourtle" studios and recorded songs "Answer"(Part1,2),"The One","Broken Spell","Faded" and song "Million 5" wich became the milestone of that session and the bands contribution to such important cause like the recognition of The Armenian Genocide, which took place in the begining of the 20th century and stil not recognised by world community(1.5 million Armenians has been killed). On April 24th 2006, the day of Rememberance of that horrifying event, video of " Million 5" was premered on all Armenian TV Network worldwide with huge succses. The next add to the band was David Khanjian (Bass Guitar) who came to Los Angeles from Armenia In late 2006 and joined TooffStone to complete the bands next album titled "14" which is available on "My Space"
