Tony Palis

Antonio M.L. B. Palis is a student of life and a versatile instrumentalist, composer, arranger, writer, poet and educator in the field of arts and the sciences. He employs a wide range of music styles, from modern Western music to traditional Filipino music, including the indigenous. He is also a fervent researcher of Philippine indigenous music and is incessantly documenting/studying Filipino tribal music and culture. He has created dynamic musical scorings for different theater productions and video documentaries.

Being an educator, he believes in continuous learning and considers himself an eternal student.

He was a student of "Choreographic Philosophy" under the guidance of the late Maestro Antonio Limuaco Fabella.

TONY PALIS is the Director of the Musical Instruments Scholarship Program of the Quezon City Performing Arts Development Foundation, Inc. (QCPADFI). Tony Palis is also active in environmental advocacy.
