Sound City L-B 50 Plus (1973 mod) - maintenance and repairs.
The old amp was pretty worn out, and in need of new main DC filter capacitors.
If the bias filter cap shorts out, you will burn up your power tube...

Amazing video, very helpful thanks! I'm changing the valves in my 50R (like the 50 plus but with reverb). Mine has the ECC81 phase inverter (?) in the middle at the back between the two EL34s. Does that mean on your's this has been moved to the front and the other three are the ECC83s??
