ToniSteelz-The Woman, real name Glenda Martinez is of Garifuna Decent, by way of Honduras, Central America. Born and raised in East New York, Brooklyn, Toni developed a style and edge like no other. She is a Independent female with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Paying her dues for some time now she has accomplished plenty. ToniSteelz- The MC. Winner of the Amateur night @ the Apollo high school series in 1995, to the Underground Music Award 2004 nominee in 2 categories for Best New Original song and Best Hip Hop Group or Duo for "Throw Ya Handz Up", to winning an Underground Music Award in 2009 for "BEST RAP DUO OF THE YEAR" with BLACKSTEELZ, ToniSteelz has come a long way. Formerly known as "N'Finite", Steelz rocked the stage with the now defunct group Krusadaz, as well as other underground artist that prevail today. Currently ToniSteelz is developing a movement like no other. Working and loving the overall entertainment and grinding on the business side of things she has Co-hosted the "Lounge n Listen" open mic with Dean "Mr. Dean" McNeil of M.E.D.A.L Enterprises, Producer's Coalition of America and collaborated on the Artist Expression Music Showcase. ToniSteelz has shown her determination and continuity in the game. ToniSteelz as The Actress- "I've been putting my foot into acting since 2000 and if I do say so myself I'm nice" she says of her roles in various stage plays. She has worked Off Broadway Theater on "For Colored Girl's" as the AD(Assistant Director), "Of Mice and Men" as the Assistant to the Producer who wore many hats, "The Mystery Of Edwin Drood" as the ASM(Assistant Stage Manager), Unbound Theatre as the Stage Manager and have acted in "Manhattan Towers" a spoof comedy as well as played the principle lead actress in an underground autobiography film called "Lies of Blue", written by Lynne Forde. Toni, also had the opportunity to direct a gospel stageplay "A Piece of Me" based on one's mans testimony of forgiveness written by Jermaine "Jay Everyday" Smith. It has been a long road for ToniSteelz but she has her eyes on the prize. ToniSteelz is presently hosting her independent radio show called It's A GO! Radio every Tuesday from 10pm-Mid on www.streetmarketradio.com. She also programs the show and books the guest. She is also writing and working on establishing her buzzing production company.
