Thomas Shealy, MD, has dedicated his career to the restoration and preservation of vision, our most precious sense. He is the first ophthalmologist in the world to undergo automated lamellar keratoplasty (ALK) to correct his own presbyopia. In 2004, the practice was completely revolutionized with the acquisition of an Allegretto Wavefront Excimer laser and he has since dedicated his practice solely to laser vision correction.
