In 1975 or 76 Deep Purple played Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City Tennessee. They all came into the Burger King and bought everyones meal. No lie! Its now long forgotten in the lore of this part of the country but its absolutely true.

I bought this when it was first released in '91 or '92, not a bad album except for "In the Raw" which absolutely SUCKS!!! I mean its one of the worst songs ever! There is NO justification for its mere existence. Yes it IS that bad!!

Know whats a real shame? Joe plays his fingers to the bone and tours his butt off and is virtually unknown in U. S. A. whereas the scum of top 40 make millions. He should be as big as anything in the top 40. And kids know all of them but not Joe.

Its good, but without Michael Anthony's backing vocals,........well it just ain't the same. But the wordplay in the lyrics, pure genius! But as a fan I just can't help thinking what could have, would have, and should have never been broken apart to begin with.
