I am distanced myself from the "Organization" because there are certain doctrines I'm opposed to and which I cannot see is in the Bible. I am not disfellowshipped. I was an active JW for many years. I object to the heavy emphasis on the Organization in the JW faith. No man-made organization can save us; only God through Jesus Christ can. The Watchtower Society says that in order to come to Christ you have to come to the Organization FIRST. Please compare Psalm 146:3,4. You can't leave, not for ANY reason without getting shunned and, in some cases, hated for life.
WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?
I have several times on YouTube had the words of Psalm 139:21,22 applied to me that I should be hated!

There are good sides to the Witness religion. Such as the Bible reading habit which is what I received from them and still stick to. The problem appears immediately if you disagree about doctrine. Such as about what's written in the Watchtower magazine study articles.

"Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son." Heb 1:1,2. God Almighty's command is that we should listen to His Son, "This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!", Matt 17:5; John 3:16,17 (NASB).
Who has God spoken through to us?
Who will you listen to?

It is a fact that we have a God- given right to listen to our concsciences. If not, Why did the Bereans examine "the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so", Acts 17:11, the things they were being taught? And since we are allowed to "examine everything carefully", and don't have to hold fast to anything but that which "is good", 1 Thess 5:21 NASB - then why disfellowship or severely criticize a JW for doing this? I'm not speaking about open revolt or willful sinning such as is alluded to in 1 Cor 5:13.

"Submit to Gods royal son,or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him!"
Ps 2:12. Where is YOUR loyalty?

"let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith" Heb 12:1,2 NASB.

"Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!" Rev 7:10.

John 8:32 says the real truth sets people free, and with Christian freedom people are of course much happier.

The Bible says you need Christ to have a happy life as a Christian.
It doesn't say the Wachtower Society.
2 Timothy 3:16,17 says the scriptures themselves can teach and guide us.
It doesn't say the Watchtower magazines will do this.
Christ "teaches you about all things", 1 John 2:27.
The WTS does not.
Christ says he's IS the life, John 14:6.
So the WTS can't give us life. If you put your trust in the WTS, your eternal life is at stake!

Please compare John 14:6, Acts 4:12, 1, Cor. 8:6, 1 Tim. 2:5,6, Rev 7:10 and "let God be found true, though every man be found a liar", Rom. 3:4 NASB.

I believe in the divinity of Christ, but I do not understand the Trinity (does anybody?). Maybe but the CONCEPT could somehow be found in Scripture. I try to pick my fights wisely. I often visit my channel, and Channel Comments will be answered. Take care and "Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.", Matt 7:6 NASB.

"Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins.", Eccl. 7:20. This is true no matter how hard we try. Yet we must do our best to understand the feelings and motivations of the other party.

There are good Christans who are not JWs; the intense Catholic-bashing in the Watchtower is not fair. There are good JWs and there are true Christians also among the Catholics.

A system should not be judged by its worst adherents but by its best, those who actually live up to its standards. Judge Jehovah's Witnesses by those who are loving, not by what its Governing Body is saying, and the Catholic Church by its saints, not by its worst members.

Augustine of Hippo (354-430):
"Love men, slay error; without pride be bold in the truth, without cruelty fight for the truth."
Will YOU do that?

"Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds", Rev. 22:12. Amen!
