I have been playing at The Brickhouse Brewery on Tuesday nights and have posted several live videos on FAN.

The songs on this cd encompass material Ive been performing over the last year in my solo shows. The inspiration came from my love of old cowboy movies. When I was a kid I would get up early on Saturday Mornings and watch Gene Autry, Roy Rogers and all the singing cowboys. I also have spent alot of time in the Bahamas and Mexico and wrote tunes while nursing a hangover or catching some fun in the sun. Once we rode into the studio to record a few songs The Trailmen wouldnt stop.!!

The Trailmen are awesome! I was at Arlene's and I was blown away by the western/surf/poprock pastiche these guys (and gal) have mastered. (Of course I'm a fan as I cowrote "Riding Into Town") Still, I can't wait to see them again and relive Spring Break fantasies with these retro TexMexSurf/Soul rockers... If you see them, be sure to request "She's Gone Away"
