The constitution of Cyprus protected the rights of the Turks as the minority, and stated that the gurantors of the constitution were Greece, Turkey and Great Britain. The constitution stated that if the Turks were suffering significantly, Turkey had the right to military intervention - This does not mean that Turks were the innocent party in my mind though.

My compaint is that Britain failed in its duty to Cyprus and ever since had taken the politically correct side of Greece, as it is a Christian, European nation, forgetting the suffering of both sides and Turkeys constitutional right to intervention.

the north region of Cyprus is occupied by turks. since 1974 There have been over 140,000 turkish settlers and 40,000 turkish soldiers moved in in violation of international law and the Geneva convention. Violation of this provision of the geneva convention is considered a war crime! This occupied land is not recognized by any country other than turkey (the people who invaded the island). Join the fight to remove Turkish settlers and Turkish troops from Cyprus.
