What is 'Lost History'? Hopefully it's a different and entertaining approach to historical investigations, using the internet as the sole tool for finding information. Join me as we search for clues on the information highway to find answers on a wide variety of historical topics, which you are welcome to suggest.
About Me:
Hometown:
Detroit
Country:
United States
Occupation:
Self-employed Video Producer and Editor
Hobbies:
Like to read history (obviously), watch films and TV, the internet, used to paint (think about it sometimes), bike riding. Recently got 2 kittens.
Movies:
I like too many movies to be able to pick some favorites. I've also been watching more than my share of TV shows lately. 'Monk', 'Psych', 'Daily Show', 'Top Chef', etc.
Music:
Rock in general. The older and more obscure, the better. Just went through my 'Savoy Brown' albums. Adult contemporary, classical, experimental, blues - most everything except country (sorry).
Books:
I guess my favorite book is whatever I'm currently reading. Right now it's 'A History of the Arab Peoples', by Albert Hourani.

I really enjoyed your videos, especially the one on ancient atheletes, very informative. I was wondering if you could perchance do me a favour; I am a classics student at Trinity College Dublin, and would like to include some of the information you've given in an upcoming lecture i am preparing, in particular the anecdote about damoxenus pulling his opponents innards out, but alas cannot find a reference to it in the ancient sources! If you get a chance could point me in the direction of where you found the reference? Also, I was unaware of the 'climax' of Greek boxing, so could you point me to a reference to that also? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!
Keep making your videos, I look forward to more!
