This song and video are near the top of my list for intensity. Roger H. is the real deal. One of a kind voice and very consistent. By the way, what the hell happened to MTV?

I would dare say that Bass , Pickerel, even large Trout do this on a daily basis in their native waters but I'm not sure I'm to wild about this species taking over in a river near me. And as we all no they never stay contained for long.

Beyond all the politics I have never found her even remotely funny. You dont need to laugh at her jokes, just give her a moment and she 'll laugh at them herself. Just another self absorbed overly political scragg.

Sometimes it seems that Tuck is a little stiff when he first gets going but whithin a moment or two he locks up and reminds you how humbling his playing really is.

Boy these guy's were real pro's, they just made it look easy. I couldn't possibly have kept a straight face during scenes like this. Classic humour at it's best.

As a long time bass player I would agree wholeheartedly with your explanation of such a major slight. Bass players, even great ones are generally the last noticed performer on stage. Stanley and Stew lock up like a fine tuned engine.

@rlutge He used to look a little like Larry Bird around the same time that I looked like Barry Manilow, inadvertantly of course. Nowadays he reminds me of Mark Twain.

You don't find a much more powerful song than this. I'd like to hear a produced version of this. The solo is pure Lifeson and Geoff never embaraeses himself thats for sure.

Good name for this song as it has such a powerful drive to it. Can never get to much of Cy and the boy's.

This has a nice relaxed feel somewhat like New Kid In Town by the Eagles. Nicely done.

When you listen to a recording such as "Nothing Like The Sun" it's hard to fathom such a body of work in only one release.Branford makes the perfect foil to Sting's hornlike voice and the song's still stand up as well today.

I learned bass on this song in high school. I was a finger player and I injured my index finger so I started using a pick while it healed and this was the first song I took up. This sounds great. Tim probably does a better job than the singer they have now.

I'm thinking they must have fell about the place the first time they saw this. The send up of Geddy's voice is hillarious.

@cinecromancer Considering the effort these guys poured into their production, and the fact that digital transfers so well, it is pretty amazing that someone could possibly manage to screw up the sound of a gem like this.But your right, they have.

I'm a big Windham Hill fan and this is similar to some of it. I hope to upload a couple of my songs soon and I can only hope to get a production anywhere near as lush as this. A nice relaxing musical mantra.

Although I'm not an evolutionist either, with the exception of the rap/hiphop stuff theres a lot of great stuff here. Some of it reminds me a little of Zero 7 or something I might hear on Echos. Very tight,great production and the piano player is outrageous. Plenty of talent here.
