This is a great video: clever presentation combined with a nice balance of older material (e.g., LKoS) and newer stuff (e.g., The Conspirator).

@sweedlepipe, actually the lead singer here is Jean Millington (bassist).

But June (also Millington) had a good voice too, as did Nickey Barclay (keyboardist). And Alice De Buhr (drummer) was good on back-up vocals...just not the greatest _lead_ singer. ;-)

Don't mean to be picky (or oddbitty either, LOL), but actually Mercedes Lackey wrote the lyrics to "The Hunt", while the music was composed by Leslie Fish. I have a CD of A WOLFRIDER'S REFLECTIONS: Songs of ElfQuest, and this is one of my favorite numbers from that collection. :-)

Only one thing keeps this song from total perfection, imo--and that's McGuinn's inane guitar noodlings. :-/ While his "avant-garde" stylings enhanced "8 Miles High", here they just irritate me. He doesn't *quite* ruin the song, thank goodness...the lead vocal, the melody, the harmonies, the lyric...

Gotta love YouTube--this song popped into my head (I was reminded of it, believe it or not, by recalling a theme from John Williams HP music), giving me a strong yen to hear it...so I dropped by, hoping YT would have it--and of course they have several versions of "Wonderous Stories"! Glad I pick...
