hi.sorry the late reply.dont have goldfish and bettas together,goldfish are cold water fish and bettas like warmer wather.tropical.and the goldfish is mutch bigger than a betta.
bettas does not have a problem with light,just dont use a lightsource that will heat up the water to mutch.
and i cange 25% of the water weekly and that is not hard to clean the tank at all.:-)hope that will answer your questions...

You know i got 5 of it.. the Blue-Green, Dark Blue, 2 Red, and 1 Cream. they are all dead now.. my Gold fishes ate them..(so badly) RIP..hehe thanks again
