Somewhere in the heart of Milwaukee, WI youll find the esoteric birthplace of Toad King. Blazing their own trail through the depths of this ever changing music industry, this quartet of young, eager musicians and songwriters provides us with a refreshing sound that defies genres. With all members engulfing in their musical studies at a young age and maintaining that drive while studying music at the university level, each individual has developed an undeniably unique artistry in their approach this musical endeavor. However, with the true soul and emotion of each song on the front burner of the bands intention, Toad King does not rely on the impressive technical abilities they possess. Toad Kings live show combines these characteristics beautifully in a seemingly effortless showcase of songwriting, composition, and improvisational spontaneity that keeps their rapidly growing fan base on their toes.
Toad King has shared the stage with members of the Benevento/Russo Duo, Ween, Particle, Outformation, as well as Midwest staples Fat Maw Rooney and Stealin Strings. Having re-located to Denver, CO the band continues to tour nationally while working on their debut album to be released in 2010.
