a lot of these trades were not that bad because the players were leaving anyway (kareem), in some cases at the end of their career to chase rings (i.e. wilt, CB). Also, the dirk trade is one of the worst, but you can't forget its relative in that 3 way deal, the steve nash for Pat Garrity trade. ...
