Wow, how does an Australian teacher survive in NY? I've thought of going but I'd have to go back to teaching first, I could only find work in small country towns which were more than a challenge at home more than at work. I'm having a break from teaching. Back in Sydney, I'm really a city person. A year turned to 2 years and well, I'll get back to it one day. I guess. Sydney doesn't need art teachers, I'm still on the waiting list for 8 years. Still only casual work here.
