@cattamer101 big races are publized nationally, qutie a few horses break down at any other race, but their just small stakes races that dont have as much attention like the TC or Breeders Cup races, therefore we just dont hear about it as much

@alicenhardy looks like this is a typical Hunter Under Saddle class, its almost like Western Pleasure except for the horse moves at a faster rate, the reason there is such a variation in speed as you noticed, is probably based on the horses length of stride which would make him move faster
