When the Wii came out, I actually bought one for my niece for xmas. I'm adorable.
The idea for the chorus was stuck in my head for a month... so I figured I'd write lyrics around it... and... make a video around those.
Sing along!
It's been months now, but... no one's got em. Still I check game shops every day. Bidding starts at twice the price... but that's more than I want to pay.
So I call my friend who works at the mall - she checks for me every day, she says we got the other Next-Gen systems, and so much more for you to play.
But the Wii is what you wanted, but the Wii is gone... But the Wii is what you wanted, but the Wii is goonnnnneeee oooohhhhhh... Every day. Every day. Oohbhoghblbhblhlbhelhlbhldbhle.
Billy got one, he plays it non-stop. He forgot to brush so, tooth decay. Carpal tunnel has slowed him down some, but still he's mastered every game.
Well I grab my cell phone and call up my mom. She said she's checking at Tarzhay. I said, "What the hell's Tarzhay? Well... do they have one?" Then she answered to my dismay...
There are Wii games all around me, but the Wii is gone. Nintendo DS is all stocked up... but the Wii is gone...... oohohhhhh...
Maybe they forgot... to stock the Wii. Probably not, no one has the Wii.
But the Wii is what you wanted, but the Wii is gone. But the Wii is what you wanted, but the Wii is goonnnee ooowoaaaa.
Every day. Every day. Oohbhhbhbllblehbhhblhbhbh.
Sincerely Word, Toby

Matthews focused primarily on his work with Dave Matthews Band from 1990 to 2003. Since that period, he has occasionally ventured outside the band in various solo performances and records. Matthews sang on the track "Sing Along" on Blue Man Group's second album The Complex in 2003.[14] Later that year he released a solo album, "Some Devil", which went platinum; its single, "Gravedigger", won a Grammy Award in 2004.[15] To support the album, Matthews toured with a group of musicians (most of whom performed on "Some Devil") under the name Dave Matthews & Friends.[16]
Matthews is also a close friend of Béla Fleck.[citation needed] Matthews appears as a guest vocalist on Béla Fleck and the Flecktones' 1998 release Left of Cool and both Fleck and Flecktones bassist Victor Wooten have made numerous appearances both live and studio with DMB (e.g. Wooten soloed in the second part of The Maker, and also in #41 on the 1998 live album Live in Chicago). The Flecktones also opened for DMB on several tours.[17] Matthews performed a duet with Emmylou Harris on "My Antonia" on her 2000 album, Red Dirt Girl.[18] They also appeared together on the musical television show CMT Crossroads,[19] where the two performed Matthews' "Gravedigger" and the folk song "Long Black Veil".[citation needed]
Dave performed a cover of Neil Young's "The Needle and the Damage Done" at the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute honoring recording artist Neil Young on January 29, 2010
A parody (pronounced /ˈpærədiː/; also called send-up or spoof), in contemporary usage, is a work created to mock, comment on, or make fun at an original work, its subject, author, style, or some other target, by means of humorous, satiric or ironic imitation. As the literary theorist Linda Hutcheon (2000: 7) puts it, "parody ... is imitation, not always at the expense of the parodied text." Another critic, Simon Dentith (2000: 9), defines parody as "any cultural practice which provides a relatively polemical allusive imitation of another cultural production or practice." Often, the most satisfying element of a good parody is seeing others mistake it for the genuine article.
Parody may be found in music, art or culture, including literature, music (although "parody" in music has an earlier, somewhat different meaning than for other art forms), and cinema. Parodies are sometimes colloquially referred to as spoofs or lampoons.

The audio at the beginning is weird, sounds like the guitar and my voice both randomly go into some different tuning. Exotic. This is the first time I played anything live... so don't step on my balls. Recorded version is sexier: http://www.myspace.com/tobyjoeturner

Comedy rock is a term used to describe rock music that is mixed with satire or other forms of comedy.[1][2] This tradition can be traced back to the earliest days of rock and roll itself, the most notable early examples being Stan Freberg who lampooned artists such as Elvis Presley and The Platters, and Sheb Wooley whose "Purple People Eater" hit #1 on the Billboard pop charts in 1958 and stayed there 6 weeks.[3]
Some comedy rock artists, such as Frank Zappa, Tenacious D, and more recently, Flight of the Conchords create songs with amusing, witty, and/or over-the-top lyrics. Other acts such as Dread Zeppelin, Beatallica, and GWAR rely more on gimmicks such as outrageous costumes or mixing genres for comic effect.
Many mainstream rock and pop punk bands are known to incorporate comedy songs in their work: Bloodhound Gang, Blink-182, Bowling For Soup, Reel Big Fish, Sublime, Primus, System of a Down and The Presidents of the United States of America.
Rock has been the target of many spoofs and several spoof bands have gone on to have actual hit records, a good example would be The Hee Bee Gee Bees and subsequently Spinal Tap in the U.S., and Bad News in the U.K.. The most successful parody artist is "Weird Al" Yankovic who is now in his fourth decade of creating song parodies and has sold more than 12 million albums (more than any comedy act in history).[4]
Punk rock has made its contribution to the comedy rock ranks, with such bands as Dead Milkmen, The Aquabats and The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black. Sid Vicious' covering "My Way" is comedy rock of a more sardonic sort. The Fat Dudes are described as the Comedy Punk Rock Band. Seattle had "Dumt" playing speed metal 'humorcore, from the late 80's until 1997.
The virtual band Dethklok is death metal spoof featured in the Adult Swim animated program Metalocalypse[5] and their album entitled The Dethalbum debuted at #21 on the Billboard Top 200 list.[6]
The band Steel Panther, formerly known as Metal Skool, has become a fixture on the Los Angeles Sunset Strip with their spoof of 80's glam metal[7] and their success has opened the doors for other Hollywood spoof bands such as The Jimi Homeless Experience.[8]
ICONS is a episodic, comedic, satire rock musical that utilizes both lampooning and parodies of iconic rock artists and original satire rock, created by Greg London. Written in the classic literary format of The Hero's Journey. It started in the West End theater district at the beginning of 2007, then ran in Reno, NV mid 2007 through the end of 2009, and moved to the Strip in Las Vegas in mid 2010

I'm all alone now...
Download the full song & instrumental, completely free ~ http://onision.net/index.php?/page/in...
LYRICS ------------------ In the beginning we were so happy, I loved you and you loved me, Or you said you did, yeah you said you did, I believed you did, we were gonna have a kid.
Now I think of it, yeah I think of it, You looked at me as another idiot, I'd believe your lies, give us 14 tries, What do you care it's not your heart that dies.
No it's me, it's always me, You can lie, control, scream, Curse, use, abuse, get high, And what am I? I'm another guy.
Just another guy to take the fall and die, No questions asked, he's a psycho that's why, Show him the skeletons hiding in your closet, Soon he can become one when he's had enough of it.
Yeah in the beginning everything was swell, You would follow me anywhere, even into hell, Or would you? Was any of it true? Who did I fall in love with? Was it really you?
How can anyone know, who you really are? You lied about the accident in your car, The five suicides, the physical force, Why did I stay? I'm just another fool of course.
Every night I lay in bed and wonder why, Why you couldn't just be honest & thought you had to lie, Lie lie lie lie lie lie lie, until I finally refused you, And said my last goodbye.
First it was an alter ego, losing three years or so, The metal plate in your head & what about the rainbow? You lied about our baby & medical conditions, You're always running your mouth, but can you even listen?
The truth, It hurts, I loved you, I needed you.
But you betrayed me, You broke us, I kept trying, But you wouldn't stop lying.
