Tip from me: use private matches to your advantage to learn spawn points and test out new guns and (if your new to mw3), tour the maps! its always good to examine the maps before you get in a game so you dont end up using an acog'd m16a4 on dome!

to be honest, there really isnt a "best gun to use" in mw3. IW did a great job of preventing that. i personally dominate with the m16a4 (no MOAB yet). its just personal preference and comfortability with weapons.

They also nerfed the noobtubes alot, and all the pistols have exactly the same stats as well as the xm25 and the m320 glm. the SMAW is better than the rpg, you get the rpg at level 80, so the game is really weird, making it better and more unique for different players.
