FAQ
----What amp do you use?----
----What pedals do you use?----
When I record with line, I do not use any amps. I make sounds with BOSS BR-532 and ZOOM GFX-1 multi effector and connect them into Macintosh. BOSS BR-532 is a digital multi track recorder, and it has amp simulator named COSM. So I made my own preset simulated Marshall clean in BR-532. So when line recording, BR-532 is the amp.
I have Marshall JCM SLASH 2555 head, JCM 900/4100 head, and Marshall 1936V cabinet but they're too loud to use in my house, so I use Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 401 for home practice.
When I use Marshall full tube amps (my favorite amps are Marshall JCM SLASH or JCM 900 at studio), I do not use any over drive or distortion pedals. I use only EQ as a booster for solo and Wah and delay. Wah is Jim Dunlop's CryBaby GCB-95, and delay is BOSS DD-6 and DD-3. EQ is MXR 10 band EQ and Boss GE-7.
I have just one distortion pedal for when full tube amps are broken in the reharsal studio or on stage. That is a replica of "Crunch Box" of AI Audio's. I used it with DSL 401's clean channel on the live stage on the other day because the hall was very very small.
And they run very very well.
----What is your settings of amp or effects?----
Low gain, High Volume, Trebles are low, Mid and Low is High. That's the tendency of my setting. I won't tell the details because that's a musicianship.
----Where did you get the tab?----
----Will you send me a tab?----
When I was a beginner, I used tabs to play GNR songs, but that was so many years ago. It was in 20th century! And almost all of the tabs have so many wrong points and after learning key and scales, I don't use tabs. So now I have no tabs. I will not send you any tabs. Please don't ask me about tabs any more!

----And how much it cost?----

Fender Japan Telecoustic 2007
and so on.
I do not want to talk about the price I paid for those guitars. Sorry but that's my policy.
----What is your guitar strap----
----Where did you get your guitar strap----
My guitar straps are "Live Line's", a Japanese brand of guitar straps. I bought all of them at guitar shop in Tokyo. I don't know they sell them on internet or something. Sorry.
----Where did you get the backing tracks----
---- will you send me some backing tracks?----
Almost all of the backing tracks are made by myself. And I won't send them to anyone. This is not because of you. This is my policy. Sorry. There's no exception. So please do not ask me to send them with comments or messages.
And to make baking tracks is very good for understanding the song deeper. I recommend that you make backing tracks in your own way.
----How do you make the videos?----
At first, I make backing tracks with Macintosh's Garageband. Then I record the main part of guitars with camera rolled. Then synchronize the movie recorded by video camera and audio recorded by Garageband. That's the way how to make noiseless video. I made and posted a video named HOW TO MAKE NOISELESS VIDEO. Please check it out, if you want to know more!
---What is your policy of musicianship?---
I've been playing the guitar for about 20 years, but I've never asked anyone how to play or how to make the sound.
The tone of the guitar is the most important thing for a guitarist and I think every guitarist should find their own tone by themselves.
I am not a professional but it is not a matter of if you're pro or not.
I'm a Slash influenced guitarist as you know. I love Slash's play and his tone. But mine is not the same as Slash's. I want to learn how to play emortionally from his play and tone and what he was thinking or he was going to do. But I'm tkma myself and cannot be his copy.
Find your sound and play with your own way! That's music. That's Rock!
Sometimes there are some people saying that my policy is not Rock after reading my policy. But that's perfectly wrong. Rock N' Rollers in history had not told what they did actually. And they never asked anyone how others did.
Sometimes they told something to TV or magazine, but all they told were what they thought they could tell.
But the most important thing is in what they never tell.
Finding your own way is Rock. That's my opinion.
And if you have different thought, it's OK.
It's up to you.
But this is my thought.
Thank you for your understanding :)
