Hey dude, here's my opinion: If the US collapses into an economic depression, the whole world goes with it. The idea of a crumbling economy is all in the consumers heads. If you are suffering through economic hardship, then sorry, no insult meant.

What interest would Russia have with the West side of Europe? Well they really contain no natural resources, or enough to sustain Russia the economic,( cough, giggles slightly) "power".

In the greatest threat America has economically is China. but if they refuse to trade with us, they suffer more than we do!
