@amandanger9888 Actually, it's a common instrument around the archipelago. Not just Sunda, but also from Bali, Java, Madura, Cirebon, Palembang, Banjarmasin, and Pontianak Sultanate as well. The differences are in the rhythm, melody. You can notice the differences when you hear them.

I recognize that the "villain" use Malay words to express his fury. Was this an true intention from the British to view South East Asians as their enemy? Such a pity. I don't think that in such advert, one should explicitly make a faction as their so-called "enemy".

@kampredhz actually, Jagostu came from "jago" and "stu". Jago in Indonesia means badass, and -stu was taken from The Simpsons character, Discostu. So, they named the band "Jagostu".

Although the movie describes Indonesia in the 1965, the shooting itself was in Philippines. Soldier's uniform, people's clothing, and the situation were not accurately arranged. But, good story by the way.
