I am a former CBer. I started in 1974 and by 1977 I was an avid technician. I have seen real CB antennas from the Avanti Sigma 5/8 to the great Penetrator 500. First and foremost any CB antenna with ess than 5/8 is worthless, and any antenna without radials is even worst.
