About me
My interest in music sparked at age 12, when I learned for myself the first notes of a song. At 16 I studied music theory, but decided to continue as a practical musician. In 1968 I formed a trio and recorded my first CD (compact double - Rozemblit label - Recife PE) that contained two of my own compositions. In 1969 I went to Sao Paulo, aiming to realize the dream of being a recognized musician, but for lack of opportunities and financial difficulties, had to postpone selling my instrument and my goal. Two decades later, em1991 I was invited to participate in a disc, where I worked as an arranger and had the chance to record two of my compositions. In 1992 I went to Sao Paulo for the second time, try to write my own hard: a long-play 12 songs. During this period, I met with several musicians and learned important lessons. In 1994 I traveled to France with a group of artists to represent the music of our region: forró. On that occasion we were invited by music producer Michael Cunin, recording a CD in Stúdio Loren Record - Toul France. Back in Brazil, I did the release of my Long-play previously recorded, but unfortunately without success. Currently, I am dedicated to art in the forms: sculpture, painting, drawing and poetry. At the same time, have the music as a hobby. Writing songs, producing songs and instrumental follow my own independent CDs. However, my goal is to have a good accordion, studying harmony and improved techniques to improve my performance.
