all right that's something i didn't know .. have to be close enough to walk up to take a reading. i thought one could read for the distance by getting a measurement of similar lighting (sun, shade).

nope, i don't think it's just letting in more water. the water seems to really pour out all over ... could it be the gasket? i'll try putting in a new one. how does one know the size/part # for a replacement?

hi Gail and Cat, i watched this vid and tried to take out the burr (top) but the mechanism won't budge. to much oil, i guess. how can i get it off .. i don't want to use pliers 'cause i'll probably damage it. do you have any tips short of bringing it in to a tech?
