About this user

I founded Kabiosile in 2003 to share with the world the beauty and inspiration I found in the Afro Cuban spiritual and folkloric music of Matanzas. I've lived in Cuba since 2000, and have been initiated in the Lucumi tradition since 1996. My life's passion has become helping to preserve and share this music as it is played by the amazingly talented elders and young people of my community.
