Check out my backstage interview with Cady Groves on the Bamboozle Road Show 2010.
Cady Groves has been called a hybrid of Never Shout Never and Taylor Swift. But you really can't put a label on this young artist from Yukon, Oklahoma. Graduating from high school at the young age of 16, she went to culinary school to escape the highs and lows of high school drama.
During this time you could find Cady just about anywhere (except school!), as she embarked on 24 hour drives that took her from places like Vegas all the way to southwest Oklahoma...just for the hell of it.
But through it all she had her music, a passion that landed her a recording contract with RCA Records in 2010.
Her resume already features touring stints with superstar acts like All Time Low, Boys Like Girls and Third Eye Blind as part of the Bamboozle Road Show.
And with several popular EP's already on iTunes and her debut full length set to hit stores in 2011, the future looks bright for Cady Groves.
You can catch Cady Groves on tour in 2010. And be sure to keep an eye out for her debut full length, set to hit stores later this year.

Hope you enjoy my latest cover of Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain"
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SabrinaAnnLy... Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/sabrinaannlynn Tumblr: http://heartofthesong.tumblr.com/
This song, according to Adele, is really just about the contradictions in relationships.
LYRICS: for G'ma I let it fall, my heart, And as it fell, you also claim it. It was dark, and I was all right, Until you kissed my lips and you saved me. My hands, they're strong, but my knees were far too weak. Stand in your arms without falling into your feet. But there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew. All the things you say, they were never true, never true. And the games you play, you would always win, always win.
But I set fire to the rain, Watch it pour as I touched your face Let it burn while I cry 'Cause I heard it screaming at your name, your name.
When I'm with you, I could stay there. Close my eyes, feel you're here forever. You and me together, nothing is better. 'Cause there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew. All the things you say, they were never true, never true. And the games you play, you would always win, always win.
But I set fire to the rain, Watch it pour as I touched your face Let it burn while I cry 'Cause I heard it screaming at your name, your name. I set fire to the rain And I feel lost into the phase And it felt something nice 'Cause I knew that that was the last time, last time.
Sometimes I wake up by the door And hope you're gone, must be waiting further. Even that when it's already over I can't help myself from looking further.
I set fire to the rain Watch it pour as I touch your face Let it burn when I cry 'Cause I heard it screaming at your name, your name. I set fire to the rain And I feel lost into the phase And it felt something nice 'Cause I knew that that was the last time. The last time, ooh, ooh.
Note: Absolutely no vocal tuning or pitch correction was used in the making of this video.
