That is nonsense you know - the Poles were simply outnumbered and they were poor enough that they couldn't afford to build the most advanced designs (they did have monoplane fighters and a quite advanced bomber - but could not have as many planes as a Germany grown fat from never pay...

They have a better prize frankly - the admiration of all people of good will and (if you are a believer) - God's approval. She, Karski, Bartoszewski, Pilecki and others represent a powerful example of the kind of moral excellence that Poland could and did produce.

Agreed on all counts - and not just in rural parts of Europe - the Nazis conducted themselves like this in Warsaw - including tying up women and children onto their tanks. This isn't just an African problem - it is a human problem.
