I didn't quit cold turkey (used the gum), but I think in hindsight, cold turkey may have been the better tack. In any case, I haven't smoked in 5 or 6 years and if I can give anyone advice it would be this: do not cheat. Don't dwell on your last cigarette, but make sure it is your last one. Take ...
