@cooksup it planes well with 2 people, but not with three. with two big guys (200kg total) we had to lean forward then we were off, if i was to upgrade (in no hurry now) I wouldn't go bigger than a 15hp - that would be plenty and seems to weigh 37-44kg so 9-15kg heaver than my 8hp. fun times!
