For Cello and Birds.mov
"For Cello and Birds" is taken from my performance with Wisteriax on March 12, 2011 at 119 Gallery in Lowell, MA. Wisteriax is Karen Langlie's solo...
Kudos to both you and Karen. This is lovely. I especially dig the effect where it looks like you're using green sea glass as a lens. Keep up the good work!

Tae Kwon Do yellow belt testing (two-on-one sparring)
Me sparring with a couple of black belts at Gould's Tae Kwon Do in Gardner, MA. (March 2011)
Pretty cool, Rick-San. Makes me wish I was back into the chop-sockey stuff.

Shake Your Body Down to the Ground (acoustic Jackson 5 cover)
Just two simple chords (A and G) on an acoustic guitar with whistling solos.
I don't know what I love more: the earnest deadpan expression or the whistling. Awesome! (LOL) Your time and phrasing are solid enough to make it all work. Well done, Rick.

Nice work! i checked out the lyrics, and they're solid. I'm down with the anti-bullying crusade. Bullying is for small-hearted people with weak minds. Keep up the good work.

What Do I Get? (acoustic Buzzcocks cover)
My attempt at covering the Buzzcocks' 1978 classic punk single, "What Do I Get?" also released on their 1979 compilation album "Singles Going Steady."
Cool! I like the honest, world-weary feel. It's good as is, but experiment with looking at the camera while you play and sing and see if you like the results better. That last few seconds where you look up and connect with your audience was great. Give us more. Keep pushin' on, Rick-O-Sound.

Nice work, kidz! Visually fun, great old footage, and the song is really strong, especially the ass-kicking guitar and sexy vocals. More like this, please. :-)
