About Me:
 
Hey everybody. This is your boy, Tim. Thanks for visiting my page. Just a little about me. I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. I started playing drums when I was 3 and by the age of 5, I was holding services at Word of Faith C.O.G.I.C. with my dad, Timothy Scott, Sr. (organist/minister of music). I have always had an ear for funk music. Lots of my learning the drums came from listening to James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, Prince, Gap Band, and P-Funk records. At the age of 11, my father moved our family to Charlotte, NC where he started TiMar Productions. I continued to learn as I traveled with him to play with the likes of Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, Eric Reed, Noel Hall and many other great gospel musicians. I graduated from Northwest School of the Arts where I began to explore Jazz, Smooth Jazz, and Fusion. Also while at NWSA I was blessed to play with the likes of Ryan Saranich, Mike D. Angelo, Peppie Calvar, Michael Washington, Derrick White, Damon Turner, Marcell Alexander, Whitney Turner and Quentin Bethea. I currently attend North Carolina Central University where I major in Music Industry with a concentration in Business. My major area of performance in Jazz. I work with a lot of different groups including the NCCU Big Band and Jazz Combo as a part of an intense study of Jazz music, history, and theory. Currently I am working with the WPI Mass Choir, TiMar Productions, Peppie Calvar, and Ryan Saranich (for whom I serve as drummer and road manger) along with a variety of other acts ranging from gospel to fusion to jazz to rock to hip hop. I also serve as the percussionist for Vicrtorious Praise Fellowship C.O.G.I.C. All in all, God has truly blessed me to be able to do what I love and do it to His glory. I am very humbled and very thankful for all that I have done, all I am doing, and all that is in store for me to do. Also, I thank all who have supported me in my music and my ministry.
